Sorry going to miss reunion this year due to more health problems.. another stoke, but doing better now..Hope to make it next year, my wife and I enjoyed the last one in 2011. Like to hear from anyone that wants to email back .HAVE A GREAT TIME THIS!! HOPE TO BE THERE AT NEXT YEAR!!

I served as a Radioman on the USS Hollister from June 1971 until June 1972 when I was honorably discharged. The ship was based out of Long Beach, CA. When I got on the ship it had just returned from a tour in Viet Nam. We went on ROTC cruise along with the USS Chicago and several other ships. We hit the ports of San Francisco, Seattle, and Pearl Harbor. When we returned to Long Beach, we went into a 10 month dry dock period where new guns and electronics were put on board. After a couple shake down cruises, I left the ship and it returned to Viet Nam for another tour.
